Library shutdown due to coronavirus

24 March 2020

As you all know, most of our public institutions are being closed due to the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19.

Because of the risk of infection by the coronavirus, and to keep our members and volunteers safe, the Committee has decided to close physical access to the Library premises until further notice. This decision is effective immediately, and includes both members and volunteers.

You may receive automated reminders about overdue books from time to time, but you should ignore due dates until the Library reopens.

The situation will be reviewed regularly, in the light of advice from the medical profession and government. We will inform members and supporters of the situation by email and post as appropriate.

Our work of nourishing faith and culture is not stopping in this time of isolation and deprivation. We plan to increase our online support of our members and supporters, and also increase our postal communications for those without internet access. Further details to follow.

If you have any questions, please email admin@cclibrary.org.au, or call 0411 483 494.

God bless you, and stay well!

The Committee
